Hull Animal Welfare Trust - A local animal welfare organisation who run a rescue centre called Sunnydene, for dogs, cats and even hedgehogs.  Situated in the picturesque village of South Cave, they have a cattery unit which houses up to 20 cats.  If you are looking to offer a home to a rescue cat, why not check out their website or give them a visit.

St Francis Persian Cat Rescue - Bedale, North Yorkshire.  Founded in 1993, the St Francis Persian Cat Rescue is a registered Charity, and whilst they primarily focus on Persians, they have also re-homed other long and semi-long haired breeds and even the odd Siamese and Burmese in the past.
